Beadmaking Workshop
This is a one day workshop aimed at beaders and crafters who want to make their own unique beads to compliment a piece. The workshop is aimed at beginners so no previous experience of using precious metal clay is needed. The workshop will teach students the basics of using precious metal clay in beadmaking and will include rolling and shaping the clay, making hollow form beads, creating a moulded bead and a freeform sculpted bead. The class numbers are striclty limited to ensure a high level of individual teaching time and are held in spacious and comfortable surroundings. The class includes 16g of precious metal clay (PMC) and 9g syringe type and the use of all tools and materials.
This is a full day workshop running from 10am - 5pm. The cost of the workshop is £80 per student payable on booking.
The workshops are to be held in Solihull Town Centre at the Oliver Bird Hall. Tea coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day, there are a number of local pubs, cafes and other places to eat. Onsite parking is available for the duration of the course.
