Ring Workshop
This one day workshop focuses solely on ring making using precious metal clay. It is aimed at those who have some previous experience using the material and will enable students to competently make rings of a professional standard and finish. Students will learn the best techniques for sizing and making rings using precious metal clay, how to incorporate and set gemstones into their work and the best firing schedule. During the workshop students will be guided to make up to three rings using precious metal clay. The workshop materials include 20g of Art Clay, 10g Art Clay syring type, 9g of PMC all bezels, tools and firing equipment.
This is a full day workshop running from 10am - 5pm. The cost of the workshop is £100 per student payable on booking.
The workshops are to be held in Solihull Town Centre at the Oliver Bird Hall. Tea coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day, there are a number of local pubs, cafes and other places to eat. Onsite parking is available for the duration of the course.
