Fingerprint Workshop
This one day workshop is aimed at those who wish to learn how to make fingerprint jewellery. Baby fingerprint charms are a personal and lasting way of capturing precious moments. Taking and making fingerprint jewellery from a child's finger is fun, easy and with a few easily found tools you will learn how to produce your own stunning, fine silver, fingerprint jewellery. During the workshop you will learn to take fingerprints in precious metal clay using two different methods. The class teaches several different techniques for shaping and finishing your creations. You will produce up to three pieces of fine silver fingerprint jewellery during the workshop.
The workshop materials includes up to 20g of precious metal clay, cubic zirconias, all jewellery findings and the use of all tools and firing equipment.
This is a full day workshop running from 10am - 5pm. The cost of the workshop is £85 per student payable on booking.
The workshops are to be held in Solihull Town Centre at the Oliver Bird Hall. Tea coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day, there are a number of local pubs, cafes and other places to eat. Onsite parking is available for the duration of the course.
